Hi there! My name’s Hayley and I like to make cool warm things.

I make crochet blanket patterns on hookedwithhayley.com and sell the blankets locally. I’m a mum of 5 (4 boys and 1 girl) and have been crocheting and knitting for years.

My blog usually follows a format of Works In Progress, Finished Items and New Things that I’ve bought but this time I thought I’d do something just a little bit different.

I’ve been working hard over the last couple of months to make a C2C crochet course to teach people how to make their own cool warm things.

I found that when I was learning how to crochet, specifically how to corner to corner crochet, I’d have to search for tutorials, learn that one part then have to start searching again and inevitably I’d end up down a YouTube rabbit hole, watching some bizarre and totally unrelated videos (one of my favourite things to watch whilst I’m crocheting is woodworking videos)

So, back in December, in between all my Christmas orders, I designed 2 blankets that had all the techniques you’d need to learn to be able to make C2C blankets and set to work recording tutorials.

I got all the videos recorded, learned how to edit them and add music. I added them to a members area and made the web pages to advertise the course. I learned so much along the way and even gained some confidence (nobody likes how their voice sounds, but after hours of editing videos, it really doesn’t seem so bad).  I can’t wait to get started on the next one!

So, here is my Ultimate C2C Crochet Course, that includes beginners tutorials on holding your hook and yarn, how to buy your supplies, basic stitches, making the squares, making a rectangle and even joining up and adding a border. So whether you want to make a blanket with squares and join them together or make a blanket in one piece, you’ll have all the skills you need. You can find out more information here: https://hookedwithhayley.co.uk/ultimate-c2c-course

For a limited time the course is just £29! So grab a bargain and enrol now so you can start making cool warm things.

That’s it for this time, thanks for reading and Ill be back to my usual format of sharing my WIPs, finished items and new things next time
